Our friend Luis took one look at this spider and decided it was out to kill him. Luis opted for a preemptive strike. He decided to kill first and ask questions later. Well, now it's later. Is this spider a killer, or just unlucky and ugly?
Oh you too, don't be silly. It may look mean, but it is perfectly harmless, and its definitely NOT a spider. Its just a Whip-tailed scorpion. They are perfectly harmless. They do have a defensive chemical they spray when agitated, but that only bothers bugs.
Thanks guys. Mystery solved. We will join you in promoting whip-tailed scorpion awareness here in Honduras and around the world. This blog does not condone or support preemptive WTS strikes. We repudiate, reject, and condemn them.
