I hate it when my prepaid "Sonic Card" runs out too. The ony difference is they don't come out and take it from me. I'm sure your grateful for the nice candles and holders you got as gifts. Lots of love. Dad

Oh, no! The lefse griddle and the krum kaka iron in tandem were too much for the electrical system. Bemidji Fiction Writers Anonymous.

I think that the new puppy got ahold of some cords/cables and as a result the power had an outage and thus the need for the candles and flashlight on the table.
Or....
you guys were having a dance party in response to the joy of the krumkake and the house's electrical system couldn't deal with all the fun.

Rain Rain go away. The power generators and electrical receptacles don't like to be soggy. Some times alternate light source is handy.

Because it has rained so much, everything is sooo damp. Since you were desperate and you have no fireplace, you did the next best thing. You created your own fireplace using candles left over from the hurricane season. The rain took out your power source. The candles also gave you some warmth.

My guess is that someone stole your electric meter (who knows why)and caused you to have a nice candlelight dinner.

Your attack puppy was so vicious that your meter was the only thing taken. Your candles were to remind you of the MN power grid and loosing power for hours.

The machine on the wall is letting out just enough energy to keep those candles burning.
