If you ever find yourself near Baraboo, Wisconsin, and we hope you do, make time for the Circus World Museum. Circuses are awesome. Its difficult to post right now because I am using a pre-WW II computer, but these pictures should speak for themselves.

Wisconsin Dells: Day One
I was all like, "Wow Karine, you look really cute applying lip gloss this morning." She was all like, "Whatever..."
Then we went to this place. It was awesome and very wet. We went on waterslides and cruised down lazy rivers. We were tossed around by waves in the giant wave pool. Incredible things all day long. For real. Unfortunately my camera ran out of batteries, so this is the only picture I got.

Swimming Lessons
What could be more fun than taking a bunch of supercute kids to swimming lessons? We're so lucky that we had the opportunity to spend our summer with Anne, Jon, Natalie, Sam, and Christopher. We're leaving Andover on Saturday to spend a week with Karine's Family in the Wisconsin Dells. After that a train ride to Chicago (YIPEE!) and a couple of days there. Then back to La Ceiba.

1 Year!
Today, Tom and I are celebrating our first wedding anniversary. It's been an incredible year of new adventures for us. We are looking forward to all of the exciting things year number two will bring our way.
Tonight, we'll enjoy the top of our wedding cake.
(Don't worry- it's been frozen for a year, I'm sure it will be just great!)

St. John's Woods
Karine and I visited St. John's University yesterday. Its a special place for us because we met there in 1998. We hiked out the the newly renovated Stella Maris chapel. Here are some pictures of the abbey and woods.

Family Vacation Pics
We took our annual family trip up to New Frontier Resort for the Fourth of July last week. I took approximately 4.6 million pictures. Here are my favorite fourteen pictures of humans. Karine told me that no one wants to see my pictures of trees and animals. I'll post those in a separate entry later. Karine volunteered to write the captions.
**Disclaimer: I (Karine) did volunteer to write the captions, but then Tom did and decided to write them from my perspective. Captions actually written by Tom.

Here are the four Lewandowski kids. Karen Lewandowski Roesner, Tom Lewandowski, Anne Lewandowski Notch, and Doug Lewandowski. This picture was taken after they returned from a siblings only fishing trip. Look at all the fish!
Two of Anne's kids, Natalie and Sam, on a sunset pontoon ride.
Doug's second oldest Jessica. She likes looking at stars and thinking about stuff.
Jessica, Kirsten, and Megan Lewandowski.
Tom took this picture of me on the pontoon. I am smokin' hot! Don't touch me or you might burst into flames.
Megan Lewandowski in action one morning after breakfast. Megan really likes breakfast.
Sam Notch engaging in one of his favorite activities with assistance from Karen's husband Mark Roesner.
Tom entertains the family. His back up singers, Sarah and Allison, wrote a song about eating cheese balls at the cabin on vacation.
Tom and his newest nephew Christopher Notch. Christopher is a very laid back baby. He LOVES reggae music.
Allison Lewandowski surfing behind the boat with her uncle, Jon Notch.
Newlyweds Mark and Karen Roesner.
Lewandowski family matriarch Jean on the pontoon boat.
Anne Notch preparing her breakfast specialty: Belgian Waffles.
Anne and Jon laughing on the couch because their son Sam just appeared wearing all his clothes backwards and inside-out.

Wall-E: Two Thumbs Up!
I love going to the movies with Karine. But it takes a lot of convincing to get her to go. She likes movies, but suffers from leg twitches and muscle spasms whenever we go to the theater. Its not a real serious medical condition. More like ants in the pants I think.
Wall-E is a great movie and we would recommend it to anyone who loves robots, robot love stories, fat people in outer space, spandex jumpsuits, or Fred Willard. It was a great story. My prediction: five Oscars.
My conservative hero Andrew Sullivan's take on the movie here.

We're back in internet range after a week in the woods with Tom's entire family. Cute pictures of the nieces and nephews are on the way. In the meantime, how about some wacky German photography. You can find more breathtaking photos and information here.
